Soprod SA Les Reussilles was founded in Tramelan (originally Tramlingen) in Switzerland’s Jura, in 1966. Nowadays, Soprod (today owned by Spanish-based Festina) includes several horology companies. In particular, mechanical movements are made in Les Reussilles, while quartz movements emanate from Sion in Valais. With phased withdrawal of ETA movement supply nearing completion, Soprod, Sellita and Ronda provide some hope of equipoise in Swiss-movement manufacture. If not one of Switzerland’s leading watch manufacturers, Soprod SA is undoubtedly one of today’s leading movement makers.
Soprod SA is at the same time a traditional manufacturer for high quality quartz watch clockworks and a most innovative company that has develeopped and built the first Swisss made connected quartz watch. Their clockworks can be connected to Smartphones und thus be inetgrated into cloud based systems. Today, world class watch brands such as Breitling use the connected watch technology from Soprod SA.
Most Soprod watch self-winding movements can be wound properly by most watch winders. Usually Soprod’s self-winding movements need to rotate 500 - 950 revolutions per day, and most of them can be wound clockwise. So please take some time and like to choose a cute clockwork that suits you and your watch.

If you could not find your watch model (or caliber) in this table, you may determine your Soprod. winding mode on a trial basis. You should select the combined winding mode (CW+CCW) and the minimal number of turns per day (TPD). Then place your watch into the watch winding box and check after a few days how accurate your watch shows the time. If it runs behind, it is necessary to increase the number of TPD by one step.
