It all started in 1976, in the middle of a watch industry crisis, when Mr Raymond Weil decided to found his own company and turn his vision of what Swiss watchmaking should be into actual timepieces that would bring a new dimension to the industry.
Mr Weil’s creations were immediately praised by watch enthusiasts – amateurs and connoisseurs alike. Precision, quality, reliability, nobility and high-tech materials are the demanding standards of a philosophy that earns it the much-coveted ‘Swiss-made’ label.
Once strongly settled in Switzerland, and carried along by both his enthusiasm and his experience, Raymond Weil explored the world to gradually put together an international network and is now a famous brand and one of the flagships of the Swiss watchmaking industry.
Most Raymond Weil watch self-winding movements can be wound properly by most watch winders. Usually Raymond Weil’s self-winding movements need to rotate 650 - 800 revolutions per day, and most of them can be wound clockwise. So please take some time and like to choose a cute clockwork that suits you and your watch.

If you could not find your watch model (or caliber) in this table, you may determine your Raymond Weil. winding mode on a trial basis. You should select the combined winding mode (CW+CCW) and the minimal number of turns per day (TPD). Then place your watch into the watch winding box and check after a few days how accurate your watch shows the time. If it runs behind, it is necessary to increase the number of TPD by one step.
