Martin Braun is a watchmaker whose self-titled brand is gaining popularity among collectors and serious watch enthusiasts. Braun is truly a genius in all aspects. His father was a master goldsmith and producer of watch cases. He graduated the prestigious Pforzheim’s School of Watchmaking in 1983 with honors. He earned the title of master watchmaker for an esteemed company in 1991 at the young age of 27. In 1991 Martin Braun also teamed up with his father Karl Braun to create mechanical watches at the perfect timing. The 1990’s saw a mechanical watch renaissance.

Martin Braun is known as a brand that produces masterful complications, impeccable design, and quality. Braun has recently joined with the Frank Muller group. His watches have won honors and awards such as the Boreas wristwatch which won watch of the year 2003. It also received a technical innovation award. There are currently 14 models available to choose from in the Martin Braun collection.

Martin Braun specializes in men’s watches. In fact, the brand only offers men’s wristwatches at the moment. The models are exquisitely unique and enticingly designed. This is a mid-range luxury brand with prices starting in the $10,000 range.

Most Martin Braun watch self-winding movements can be wound properly by most watch winders. Usually Martin Braun’s self-winding movements need to rotate 650 - 800 revolutions per day, and most of them can be wound clockwise. So please take some time and like to choose a cute clockwork that suits you and your watch.

If you could not find your watch model (or caliber) in this table, you may determine your Martin Braun. winding mode on a trial basis. You should select the combined winding mode (CW+CCW) and the minimal number of turns per day (TPD). Then place your watch into the watch winder and check after a few days how accurate your watch shows the time. If it runs behind, it is necessary to increase the number of TPD by one step.
