Feb 13, 2023

Habring² is Richard & Maria Habring. The world's smallest manufacturer, based in southern Austria where Richard hails from, the only watch manufacturer in Austria! The company founded in 1997 Volkermarkt, Austria in a fourth and fifth floor studio surrounded by lakes and mountains and proceeded to develop and produce a range of fine mechanical watches for which Austria was once so famous back in the 19th century.

Richard has created many complications for some of the well known "big brands" in his previous professional career, but now with his wife Maria reconnecting with the great Austrian history of watchmaking by producing their own range of excellent mechanical wristwatches.

Most Habring² watch self-winding movements can be wound properly by most watch winder boxes. Usually Habring²’s self-winding movements need to rotate 650 - 950 revolutions per day, and most of them can be wound clockwise. So please take some time and like to choose a cute clockwork that suits you and your watch.

If you could not find your watch model (or caliber) in this table, you may determine your Habring². winding mode on a trial basis. You should select the combined winding mode (CW+CCW) and the minimal number of turns per day (TPD). Then place your watch into the watch winder and check after a few days how accurate your watch shows the time. If it runs behind, it is necessary to increase the number of TPD by one step.
