Cimier watch winder direction and settings

Nov 5, 2022

Cimier watches are an elegant celebration of Swiss watchmaking expertise and demonstrate a refined aesthetic. Chic yet relaxed, Cimier designs are unique with a strongly contemporary look.

The long-standing tradition of the brand is being carried toward the future by a young team with experience in different Swiss watch manufactures. The most prominent characteristics of a Cimier are still high-class workmanship, the remarkable design and an affordable price. The Cimier atelier in Zug (Central Switzerland) not only designs and develops these exclusive timepieces, but also manufactures them in finest handcraft.

Most Cimier watch self-winding movements can be wound properly by most watch winder boxes. Usually Cimier’s self-winding movements need to rotate 650 - 800 revolutions per day, and most of them can be wound clockwise. So please take some time and like to choose a cute clockwork that suits you and your watch.

If you could not find your watch model (or caliber) in this table, you may determine your Cimier. winding mode on a trial basis. You should select the combined winding mode (CW+CCW) and the minimal number of turns per day (TPD). Then place your watch into the watch winder and check after a few days how accurate your watch shows the time. If it runs behind, it is necessary to increase the number of TPD by one step.
