Altanus watch winder direction and settings
Altanus Designs are 100% Italian from Marcianise, near Naples, Italy. The brand is known as a manufacturer of high quality and expensive gold and steel wrist watches.
The origins of the Altanus watch mechanism date back in 1914. In a short time the watch brand won the recognition and right to exist along with other Swiss watches thanks to its originality, unique and sophisticated style and well developed marketing policy of Neapolitan family headed by Mario Casillo.
Most Altanus watch self-winding movements can be wound properly by most watch winder boxes. Usually Altanus’s self-winding movements need to rotate 650 - 950 revolutions per day, and most of them can be wound clockwise. So please take some time and like to choose a cute clockwork that suits you and your watch.

If you could not find your watch model (or caliber) in this table, you may determine your Altanus. winding mode on a trial basis. You should select the combined winding mode (CW+CCW) and the minimal number of turns per day (TPD). Then place your watch into the gyroscopic watch winder and check after a few days how accurate your watch shows the time. If it runs behind, it is necessary to increase the number of TPD by one step.
