A.Mantei watch winder direction and settings
Armin Mantei, a German matchmaker, was born insalon A-Mantei 1961. Since his childhood he has been dreaming to become a watchmaker and create exclusive watches. Armin studied in Pforzheim. While studying he created watches paying much attention to their appearance: symmetric forms of cases, original design, transparent dials, polished details, half-open complicated movement of these watches admire everyone.
Manufacturing watches with creative ideas and traditional craftsmanship is the core of our philosophy for our unique, mechanical wristwatches.
They make all dials, minute hands and hour hands by hand, as well as solid silver cases, rotors, escapement components, all engravings and dial paintings! And each A.MANTEI is only produced once!
For the individual components, the design is first drafted, a drawing made with dimensions and then manufactured by hand. Pointers are transferred to sheet steel or gold sheet and sawn out by hand with a saw, then filed, ground, chamfered, blued, matted, polished. So, all production steps are carried out exclusively by hand!
Most A.Mantei watch self-winding movements can be wound properly by most watch winder boxes. Usually A.Mantei’s self-winding movements need to rotate 650 - 800 revolutions per day, and most of them can be wound clockwise. So please take some time and like to choose a cute clockwork that suits you and your watch.

If you could not find your watch model (or caliber) in this table, you may determine your A.Mantei. winding mode on a trial basis. You should select the combined winding mode (CW+CCW) and the minimal number of turns per day (TPD). Then place your watch into the automatic watch winder and check after a few days how accurate your watch shows the time. If it runs behind, it is necessary to increase the number of TPD by one step.
