A rolex watch winder simulates the natural movement of the wrist, ensuring that your Rolex maintains its power reserve and functions correctly. Rolex watches are renowned for their precision and durability. However, like all automatic timepieces, they require regular movement to stay wound and running accurately. Still a Superbly elegant product..
This watch box is made very well and surprised me some given the lower cost. Was just looking for a place to store multiple watches and planned to keep it in drawer but looks good enough to keep on top of dresser instead. If you want portable for traveling, there are smaller ones out there.

quiet running, and good looking.
Quiet and good looking, this winder keeps two watches wound and ready for wear when set to the proper “program”. The only complaint I have is when using the smaller diameter pillows they do not fit tightly in the slots. I use a small pice of microfiber polishing cloth to help create a snug fit. Note that it is important to “center” the watch, and seat it fully in the winders slot to prevent it from moving while winding. This is especially important with heavy watches.

Great product . Thanks
Works great.. Quite don't even know its running.
Really like the settings..
Dislike ok this is just me. I have a large wrist 8inches so I had to add some material to hold my watch firmly as so it wouldn't move during rotation.

Keeps watch working
This works well with my Seiko 5 Automatic sports watch. It rotates clockwise for three minutes then counter clockwise for three minutes. It does this continuously for three hours. The it stops for 9 hours. My Seiko watch now keeps time. Before it did not.

Great winder for large watche
I have large watches and this winder works great with two of my nicest watches. I have 8” wrists so the stacked watch pillow rings just barely keep the watches fully locked into place but it all works fine.

How long should I leave my Rolex on the auto watch winder?

Daily Use: If you wear your Rolex regularly, you can leave it on the watch winder when you are not wearing it. This will ensure that the watch stays wound and ready to wear at any time.

Intermittent Use: If you rotate your Rolex with other watches in your collection, you can leave it on the watch winder box for a few days to a week at a time. This will help keep the movement running smoothly without overworking it.

Extended Periods: If you do not plan on wearing your Rolex for an extended period (e.g., a vacation or special occasion), you can leave it on the watch winder for up to a month. However, it is generally recommended to periodically wind the watch manually to prevent unnecessary stress on the movement.

Storage: When storing your Rolex for a longer period (several months or more), it is best to keep it in a watch box or safe place without using the watchwinder. This allows the movement to rest and reduces the risk of wear from constant winding.

What TPD setting should I use for a Rolex watch winder?

Most modern Rolex models (e.g., Submariner, GMT-Master II, Datejust) require approximately 650 TPD (Turns Per Day) with Bidirectional rotation. However, specific movements like the Sky-Dweller may benefit from 800-900 TPD. Always check your specific caliber requirements to ensure optimal winding.

Can a watch winder damage my Rolex?

A high-quality watch winder will not damage your Rolex. Rolex watches feature a built-in "slipping spring" mechanism that prevents overwinding. To ensure safety, use a winder with shielded motors to prevent magnetic interference and a TPD setting that matches your watch’s specifications.

Which watch winder is best for a Rolex Submariner?

The best watch winder for a Rolex Submariner is one that offers a 650 TPD setting and bidirectional rotation. Since the Submariner is a tool watch, look for a winder with a secure cuff system to accommodate the Oyster bracelet and a quiet, reliable motor like a Japanese Mabuchi motor.

Does a Rolex Sky-Dweller need a watch winder?

While not mandatory, a watch winder is highly recommended for the Rolex Sky-Dweller. Given its complex annual calendar and Saros system, resetting the date, month, and dual time zones manually can be time-consuming if the watch stops. A winder keeps its sophisticated complications synchronized.
